Portfolio dope, NEWS PAPER BACKGROUND WAS GENIUS
is tattooing on fake skin worth showing a shop? I see that your tattoos are on human skin.
Amazing artwork and video! 🦋
I think a tattoo artist just wants to take your money they put a permanent image on you that does nothing
Thank you so much <3 idk why, but your advice felt so heart warming. I'm actually working on a portfolio with pictures of my tattoos and this has been really helpfull!
Thank you for being honest and specific , the last video I watched just told me to be myself and nothing else matters.
hey man is it ok to put art drawn from a photo reference ?
Thank you Anrijs.I’m a fan of your art and an eager subscriber. :). Quick question, do you accept tattoo apprenticeship? I’m a foreigner, is it possible for me to apply for apprenticeship on a tourist visa?
Thank u so mucho. Such an angel
interesting points ,if anyone else wants to uncover tattoo vector images try Moorack Tattoo Downloads Miracle (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my mate got great results with it.
Please someone clarify for me, is a regular cream better than A&D for healing?
Do you have any suggestions on what to focus on while learning to draw, how important is learning anatomy, perspective etc when the goal is to became tattoo artist?
Is it importatnt at all? Maybe its enough to know basics like forms, shading, and just draw a lot untill it looks good enough to start to learn tattooing?
I don't know if anyone will see this because this video is old but I'll give it a try. I'm searching for apprenticeship and I would like to know if it's risky or stupid to pay a tattoo artist to teach you. This is really hard and I would like to know if someone has an opinion about paid appenticeships :((
aah, fellow latvian here,,
I've recently thought about wanting to get into the tattoo industry and I'm overall enjoying it, although im not the best at drawing so i have a question. Is it better to start off with traditional drawing, sketching or starting off with digital? I can't put my mind on where to start, the case here is that I'm actually just 13, I'm really into skateboarding and I'm exploring new subcultures that i haven't been familiar with. my art style is more of like an gloomy, unnatural mess, some realism in between?,, although i draw whatever comes up in my mind, it usually turns out terrible so I'm trying to figure out where to start. i don't know how to explain it but yeah, that's that. aah, i hope there's some suggestions or something along those lines :]
😍😍💪💪😍😍
At the 3:30 mark what type of marker/paint do you use to get that black fade, I’m drawing on paper and can’t seen to get a smooth fade down
Very helpful th
You are like a sensei tattoo artist haha lol much appreciation !
Where do i get a portfolio book? Like the plastic cover pagess
Thanks so much Anrijs.
Thank you for the video, bcs i have no idea how to make my portfolio.
Do you HAVE to know lettering for tattooing?
Omg Dude looks like Chester Bennington😱
So helpful I’m making my portfolio currently I really hope over the time I really put together a great portfolio this really helps a lot thank you!
Seriously you are the most genuine person I’ve ever seen, you helped me build my confidence to pursue becoming a tattoo artist. Thank you 🙏💖
Ive been tattooing a few years now (without givin it the big 1 im a really good drawer ) my work's improving well but im lazy…this vid is the kick up the arse i need…thank you ♥️
I'm not sure whether to do just lines, painted or digital art in my portfolio or just a bit of everything
I can't see why you want a apprenticeship at all. The technique is quite easy to learn (don't let 'experienced ' tatto artist tell you otherwise). Practise and experience is what you need. You don't get that being a shop bitch.
Super helpful! Thanks for the video 😃👍
you have always been one of my biggest inspirations

and i gonna be better showing my work after this video, its like what im doing, but need to getter better in some things
💗💗💗 great advice, even tho I think your old portfolios are the most fun & the newspapers behind the drawings look great. I can never get rid of old drawings & I think it's a lovely way to create a personal archive. I just bought some new portfolios books today & am working on updating mine. This was very helpful, especially in regards to simplifying 🙏🏼.
Hey guys, I need your help please! Can I ask some of you to fill in my ' Tattooing for the beginners' questionnaire please?
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSez9i-8XdAR-gwO9YFzVeYyR1ztyS3XTQIbCV0-Wm2uvo1FsA/viewform
As a thank you gift I will send you a check-list of your choice! I only need 10 more people to fill it in, I will be very very grateful. It only take 3 min to fill in and totally anonymous! Why I'm doing questionnaire? I am in process of doing a Tattoo Webinar and researching what problems are most common for the beginners. Would appreciate your help!
I feel motivated thanks man
Thank you fir the idea master
i would like to see your drawing tools for making good drawings and sketches
Amazing tips ! thanks
Here's another great and free tip, don't ever tattoo your dam face !
Hey Anrijs, this is a very inspiring Video! It brought me to overthink and redesign my Portfolio. Thank you!!
